Schedule for the 2006 ABIM Internal Medicine exam. 

• 2006 Exam Dates:
• August 15, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, or 30
• September 1, 6, or 8
• Begining 2006, ABIM exams are one day computer based tests.
  
• Dec 1, 2005 to Feb 1, 2006 = Register for ABIM exam (application fee $1080).
• Feb 2, 2006 to March 1, 2006 = Late registration ($1080 + $300 extra late fee)
• June 1, 2004
• Deadline for cancellations (Refunds 80% to 50%)
• Deadline for changes in test centers.
• November = ABIM exam results are mailed.
  
• Exam Details: Begining 2006, ABIM exams are administered by Pearson VUE at over 200 test centers in the US and worldwide. For scheduling information, visit Pearson VUE's website for ABIM Exams.
• Exam Day: 10 hours for the entire exam. There will be 4 sessions. Each session will take 2 hours. You will have 3 breaks. The lunch break will be 60 minutes. The morning and evening breaks will be 20 minutes each.
